Welcome to the Sheffield Local Optometric Committee website.
The website has been developed with the following intentions
- To allow easy access to committee documents
- To act as a source of useful information for local eye-care providers
- To aid communication between the local hospital eye departments, the PCT, the LOC and local eyecare providers
- To help improve and develop eye-care pathways and services
- It is both expensive and time consuming to use postal communication and the LOC hope that local eye-care providers will register their email addresses with the mailing list (see link) to enable regular and cost effective communication.
