Over the past year, I have tried to keep on top of the LOC website, wanting to make it a useful and informative site for all things LOC related, along with any other items I feel may be of use or interest. Since the website was set up, there have been a total of 58,344 combined page hits, so someone is looking!
We have a total of 107 optometrists on the Sheffield PCT performers list as of 14th May 2010. The LOC email mailing list has 56 members, up from 44 this time last year, so a definite improvement. However, not all of these subscribers are currently Sheffield performers. If we take out those who are not on the PCT performers list, we drop down to 51. Those 5 removed from the count were on the LOC mail list last year as well. They are the website admin team, Pascale and a couple of optoms who are in other PCT lists. I think it is worthwhile having another push at advertising the website and increasing our subscribers. It’s the easiest way for us to communicate with the optometrists we are here to represent.
