Treasurer’s Report 2006-2007
The income from the voluntary levy has remained static and will discontinue with immediate effect upon LOC approval, to be replaced by a _% increase in the statutory levy which will therefore alter from 0.75% to 1.25%. The extra 0.5% will be paid to the newly inaugurated LOC support fund.
The funds raised through the statutory levy showed a small increase of 2.5% over the previous year.
LOC total financial reserves have increased by £4929 (20%) to £29,892.42.
LOC expenditure increased by £4237
Unless the committee feels that expenditure is likely to increase I would suggest reducing the final statutory level by 1/4 (one quarter)%.
