Current Chairman - Rob Hughes
I was brought up in Stoke-on-Trent, and I graduated from Aston University in 1992 and moved to Sheffield for a pre-reg post with David Inman Opticians. After qualifying, I was offered a job with Martyn Kemp Opticians after doing some work for them part time. I have been there ever since!
I joined the LOC in 2003, and started on the Diabetes Eye Screening Commitee in 2005.
I am married to Wendy, a GP, and have two children, Kate and Ella, who take up all my spare time.
