Welcome to the Sheffield Local Optometric Committee website

The website has been developed with the following intentions

• To allow easy access to committee documents
• To act as a source of useful information for local eye-care providers
• To aid communication between the local hospital eye departments, the CCG, the LOC and local eye care providers
• To help improve and develop eye-care pathways and services

It is both expensive and time consuming to use postal communication and the LOC hope that local eye-care providers will register their email addresses with the mailing list to enable regular and cost effective communication.

Funding is available for training for higher qualifications across Sheffield.
